Inside our workshop: The making of a collection: Horn, Part I

Posted by Mary Bosibori on

A couple of weeks ago, we mentioned that we’re working on our new collection and we showed you some of the raw materials (denim) and processes (re: bag-making) that we are using.

Horn is another material that will feature heavily in the new collection.

All our bracelets are now done in house so that we can ensure the utmost quality. John, a highly skilled horn artisan from Uganda who has trained in China and Italy, has been sharing his expertise with the team. As a result, the quality of our horn designs is even higher than before!

Stay tuned for more collection updates in the coming weeks including:

  • – Sneak peeks of the finished pieces
  • – The inspiration behind the collection
  • – Info on the big launch weekend
  • – The collection’s name!
