AMANDLA - A Capsule Collection

AMANDLA - A Capsule Collection

There is something totally elegant about our new collection. In just a few days our new and exciting capsule collection “Amandla”, will be released.

Amandla which in Zulu means power, encourages us to embrace our inner powers, to be strong and radiate like stars. Be power. This is something so important in a continent which has suffered so much, yet always had the strength to rise above and shine.

The collection has been designed by our London College of Fashion intern Amanda Jeneby in collaboration with Adele Dejak.

Amanda who has been interning with the brand from the beginning of June, has created a collection inspired by her experience in Kenya.

The collection which has been inspired by the geometrical patterns and shapes often used by the Maasai tribe in Kenya, is an elegant collection so bold yet so simple.

The samples of the Amandla collection were first designed and sampled at our Kiambu workshop. The samples were then forwarded to the talented silversmith Musa Butt for production. Musa is an extraordinary silversmith who we have been collaborating with us for the past two years and produces our luxury range to undeniable perfection. In 2008, Musa won the Young Designer and Silversmith award in the United Kingdom, is currently working as a designer and jeweller, producing one-off commissions for private clients and does production for designers.
