Woman Crush: Lamic Kirabo

It is our hope that the new year has so far brought nothing but wonderful things your way!

This year, we have decided to start a ‘‘woman crush‘‘ series that we will be having every week. You may all be well conversant with the term ”woman crush wednesday”. Popular by the acronym ‘WCW’, it is an extremely popular internet hashtag that people use to tag posts about elegant women they admire on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr and other social networks.

Our woman crush posts will be going up every Wednesday and they will feature female entrepreneurs from around the continent that we admire and love.

First up: Lamic Kirabo.

Lamic is a Ugandan artist and fashion enthusiast, with the online platform Third Local. Third local is a creative platform, fashion, and lifestyle hub. It is a space that Lamic uses to document her truly elegant personal style, bring brands and creatives together, and promote creative initiatives in Africa as far as fashion and the urban lifestyle is concerned.

Lamic is a multi-faceted individual. She is a fashion and lifestyle photographer, creative director, curator, writer, stylist, while also pursuing a degree in fashion and retail marketing.

We love the elegant work that Lamic is doing to promote Africa fashion, and applaud her for always looking out for the African woman.
