Woman Crush: Yemi Alade

For those who do not know this elegant songstree, Yemi Eberechi Alade is a Nigerian Afro pop singer who peaked as a star after winning Nigeria‘s maiden edition of the Peak Talent Show in 2009. Since then she has been soaring higher and higher.

Yemi Alade is known for her Afrocentric style, mainly promoting her elegant fashion style by rocking Ankara prints/Wax prints ensembles in her music videos, on and off stage. She is a beautiful artist with a unique fashion twist. Known to make bold fashion statements with her distinctive sense of style, her head to toe African inspired sense of style has made her an icon both in the entertainment and fashion industries.

During Yemi‘s most recent trip to Kenya we got the opportunity to meet her and adorn her with our pieces. Can’t wait to see how her and her team style them!
